No honey post op. At least not while you are trying to lose weight. Your body may not even be able to handle it. Honey is on the list of things to avoid along with sugar and candy.< /p>

Have you tried Stevia?

I've found the packets of this are pretty decent in coffee & tea.

There seems to be less aftertaste, too.

It's certainly more pricey than generic Splenda or NutraSweet but is works well.

I eat raw honey in moderation. I am allergic to stevia and most artificial sweeteners. It hasn't interfered with my weight loss in the least. And it was never on my list of do not eat foods.

I LOVE creamed honey!! I bought some organic creamed honey while I was in Colorado and yesterday I remembered it! I wanted something sweet so I dipped my little spoon in and had maybe 1/2 teaspoon. It did the trick as far as fixing my sweet tooth. I'm still alive and I'm not apologizing for it!!!!

I've honestly only ever had Splenda as an adult. I remember trying equal and sweet and low when I was younger, but I just don't like how unnatural they taste and I can't imagine it's doing less harm then actual sugar...but who knows

Creamed honey?! I've never heard of that. I do buy local honey here in NorCal, because my daughter likes it with tea and my husband prefers honey in his coffee. I'll have to look for that. I honestly only have the need/want for a touch of sweet in my coffee and tea. But even at that with my coffee I've been managing perfect by adding Protein to it bc it gives it just that touch of sweetness I wanted

Creamed honey might also be labelled whipped.

I don't add sweeteners to food as a general rule, but the few times I do, I prefer honey or a bit of brown sugar, or even more rarely a tad of cane sugar.

The only thing my surgeon told me to completely avoid is high fructose corn Syrup.< /p>

If you're in near Sacramento, Sacramento Bee Keeping has some creamed honey and it is amazing!

I don't know any place near there. I'm sure you can find something though. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
