My holy grail product for DRY skin!

Recommended Posts

My dermatologist told me to use Eucerin moisturizer and that has saved my life! Someone asked about lotions that tighten and firm? I'm using Nivea's coq10 firming lotion and Dollar trees coca butter with elastin. I've been doing those two on my breast's and stomach and inner thighs where I have the most loose skin and stretch marks for a week now and I've already begun to notice a huge difference!!

I am still pre op and have my surgery next month, so I'm trying to get on the roll early.

Also, another great item for dry skin and stretch marks is Vitamin E ointment from GNC. It contains pure Vitamin E, Wheat Germ, and Aloe Vera and it works great. And none of these items I mentioned above have a weird smell.

Thanks for the CeraVe recommendation- I will definitely check it out! I'm always looking for a good moisturizer. My whole body tends to get dry and itchy during the winter. Yuck.

I use "Vivite Replenish Hydrating Cream" on my face. It is amazing! I used to have super-dry, flaky skin on my face nothing seemed to touch. My dermatologist recommended the Vivite, and my face is now completely different- so smooth and healthy-looking. I can almost feel my skin cells sucking in the moisture when I put it on. The directions say to use it along with your regular moisturizer, but it is all I use on my face. It is a bit pricy (I get mine on Amazon for about 1/2 the price my dermatologist sells it for), but one little tub of it lasts me about 6 months.

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT NIVEA EXTENDED MOISTURE - 48 HOUR - IS AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING LOTION THAT I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR FOR OVER A DECADE. IT'S THE ONLY THING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AND KEEPS WORKING.

TRY IT!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
