Any Oct 6 Sleevers out there?

I am scheduled to have my sleeve done on October 6th (started the process on March 1st, 2015.) I'd love to have a "surgery buddy" who is having the procedure the same day or very close to the date. Anyone interested?

Same as RDub

When you get an answer please share. Does everyone still have to have follow up appointment still? I went for my 8 week post op on Friday and my doctor told me that was my last appointment unless I have any problems. I was expecting many more, maybe because with the lap band I was always going for adjustment.

I will have follow ups for 2 years every 3 months

Thanks for all your answers. I am going to rely on all of you (my sleeve family ) ????

My doctor says 80 g of protein, 33 g fat, 100 g carbs and 30g fiber.

I've got a follow-up with Kaiser this week, but the doctor doesn't need to see me until 6 months. I think he's written me off as a "don't worry about this one" case.

Wow, looks like So many different doctor follow up programs.

I go once a month for a year, and my doctor sits down and spends about 20 minutes every time talking to me about the foods I'm eating, and other concerns I have and gives me suggestions.

This will be me tomorrow evening ???? ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1449867376.364045.jpg

Please share your accomplishment with us. Graduation is a big deal. So happy for you!

I have that info somewhere. I asked my nut last time I was there. Not sure where I put it! ????. If I find it, I will post!

Found it! Here is what my nut told me! post-254589-1450151770511_thumb.jpg

Thanks so much for all the info. It is such a big help.

That's awesome, Thinner. Thanks!

Doing the happy dance. I am three weeks out... The very first week I lost close to 9 pounds. Then the last two weeks I stalled. Today I lost!!!! FINALLY. I am officially down 81.2 pounds! Officially 13 pounds from surgery. I am so happy :)

Thank You RG

It was such a great experience to walk across that stage! But the best part was I graduate with my husband and this day is only topped by our wedding day and the birth of our children. post-264131-14502001740343_thumb.jpgpost-264131-14502001871092_thumb.jpgpost-264131-14502002048271_thumb.jpg

The first three weeks it melts off. Don't be discouraged by a stall. It happens but you will come out of it and lose a good amount. Seems the body needs time to readjust from time to time
