Keep up the good work. I went and signed up at the gym again. Time to get serious again. Been slacking off a little. Haven't gained anything, still loosing but soooo slow. 7. Hope everyone had a happy Valentine's day. I did very well. No cheating. I had a good time. We went out for dinner. My husband asked if I wanted to share a desert with him and I said no. So the good husband he is passed on it all together. Which always makes it easier.
  8. I thought about making my own, but I don't want to get hooked on them. When I lived there I ate them constantly. ????I don't want to go down that road again.
  9. Are you eating any boiled peanuts? That is one of the things I miss. We don't have them in Los Angeles.
  10. Hot damn girl. You look great. Keep up the great work. You inspire us all with this picture. I will try and post one soon. It's nice to see the progress we all talk about. Pictures really put it in a different light. Seeing is believing.
  11. It better be an Alabama outfit RG.????
  12. Marcia, I agree. As long as we make it. Everyone is different. We will lose differently. As long as my scale is going down, I am so excited. I have been on this journey for 4 years now. But I am loving it this time around. If I only went with the sleeve the first time and knew how important the support from a group like this is. Don't get me wrong, my husband and family are supporting, but it is different because they are not doing it. They only understand to a point. Love all of you.
  13. I am with you on that. I love it so much more. I was even able to eat an orange. Best decision I ever made.
  14. Yes. I thought I was doing something wrong. I lost 81 pounds in 16 weeks with the lap band. And only 41 pounds in 16 weeks with the sleeve. So much happier with the sleeve. Super happy about the 41 lbs.
  15. Highest weight (Lap band) 261 Lowest with lap band 180 Highest before sleeve 228.7 Surgery 222.2 (Oct 9) Today 186.1 So happy!!
  16. We are all rocking it. I am 15 weeks out and down 41.6 pounds. Super happy. Much better experience then I had with the lap band. Don't get me wrong, I still lost a bunch of weight, but all the problems I had was almost not worth it. I was so nervous about doing the sleeve. I did not want to deal with all the issues. No need to worry. I have had no problems. I love and need all the support from all my weight loss surgery family, you guys. Thanks for always being here. Oh , RG thanks for the roll tide shout out.????
  17. My insurance will only cover it once and my bmi has to be under 30. Of course you have to have a certain amount of skin. But there is no set time that you have to maintain. For sure I will wait till I am at goal. No reason to do it and keep loosing and have to do it again. ???? but I can't wait.
  18. Speaking of extra skin. Has anyone given any thought to plastic surgery later on. I know I am. I had a full tummy tuck when I lost weight with the lap band. Loved it. Now when I get down to where I want to be I will do my thighs, arms and a breast lift. I know it doesn't bother some people. I didn't think it would me but I was so wrong. It bothers me just as bad as be I lost weight. My insurance covered all of my tummy tuck, minus my deductible. They will cover the rest as well. What are you all thinking.
  19. I just had my 3 month yesterday. Down to 187. So happy. Not that anyone will remember but the a in amboyd is Alisa. I am bad remembering names.
  20. I never actually log anything with my fitbit. I log all my food, water and exercise on my fitness pal. Everything automatically transfer from my fitbit to my fitness pal. Like my steps and my weight. I love it. What does everyone else use?
  21. Congrats Marcia. I am with you. I have the fit bit scale too. Love it. I also use the fit bit dash board and my fitness pal. I love how they all link.
  22. Way to go! Great job. I know you feel great.
  23. Congrats!! We are waiting for before and after pictures now.
  24. Awesome! Keep it going. Has anyone seen the 30 day shay loss challenge on you tube? I think it is called fat dad fat kid. As soon as I am over this flu. I will be doing it. I have been watching it. I know it will kick my butt, but it looks fun at the same time.
