Bucket list of things to do after weight loss...

Recommended Posts

I forgot one, I want to be able to get up off the floor without having to roll, get on all four, find something to pull myself up before standing.

I look forward to sitting in stadium seats and fitting comfortably-we go to tons of sports events. I also want to Water ski again. I was not totally out of shape before surgery, but I'm looking forward to not having to work harder than people in worse shape than I am! I also want to finally finish a triathlon. This is a fun thread!

I definitely wanna be able to climb back on to a boat without having 2 guys haul me up like a beached whale. Horribly embarrassing even though one was my husband.Never wanna wonder if I can fit on a ride again either. Don't want to ever be picked up at front gates of the zoo again because I can't walk a step further without crying due to pain.

OK not sure this is really bucket list but I thought of 2 more things I cannot wait for - 1) my shirts to be small enough to stop slipping off the dang hangers because the neck is too big and 2) to be able to wear heels. It's not that my feet don't fit. It's just that those shoes aren't built to hold so much weight so they get a bit wobbly. Can't wait for non-wobbly high heels! ????. #fatgirlproblems

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
