I have stalled for the last month and am actually okay with it. My doctor laughed at me when I explained that I was tired of clothes shopping.

I started this journey at 348. I dropped about 25 pre-surgery. I'm down to right at 200 now. I enjoy being a 14/16....buying an occasional Large. I've size out of Lane Bryant/Catherine's and it feels beyond weird.

My husband had his surgery this last May. He's already lost close to 120. I love him and hate him at the same time. LOL

I was sleeved on 8/11 and I am eating regular foods just feeling my way through see what I can and can't tolerate sticking to meat and veggies for the most part... Although I went out of town for 2 days and went to some restaurants for the first time since surgery and really couldn't eat much but I did go off course a bit with my choice of food not to mention a few cocktails but I was drinking plenty of Water and did plenty of walking after each meal. Still tryna figure things out

Surgery Aug 27, 2015

SW-348

CW-201.8

Just had my husband released from the hospital after 4 days, he fell from a chair he had fallen asleep on (has terrible sleep apnea that has caused narcolepsy) and broke his front tooth and some ribs... the worst part??? His blood sugar was 340. New diagnoses of diabetes!!! He has been my reason for fighting for this again!!! I stalled at about 8 months post op for 3 months!!! Honestly stopped trying after that, but this incident quickly reminded me why I had surgery in the first place!!!

Happy post Thanksgiving everyone! I hope everyone made it through the holiday while keeping macros on point! I made sure I had turkey, ham, and greens. I even had a small slice of my grandmother's sweet potato pie but no guilt here because I've been working out consistently 4 days a week and taking a Body Pump Strenth training class 2x a week. I love my results. My body is changing so drastically (stomach getting flatter, booty getting bigger lol). For the longest my scale wasn't moving. I started fasted cardio in the AM and the Body Pump Classes twice a week and I'm a whole new woman! Strength training is where it's at. I'm not at goal yet and I have a plan to get there by April 2017 but what I realized most is slow and steady for toning and building muscle. It takes time and commitment but doesn't everything in life?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
