Thanks. I'm seeing a shrink, eating more Protein, staying way from starches, and moving my ass. I feel great!

I've been watching calories, carbs, and exercising (which is true).

One lady said "Oh, you're doing it the RIGHT way!"

Yup :)

Most people know that I had surgery. I do have the occasional inquiry at the grocery store, Nail place, etc... I just keep it simple "Trying to eat less, and move more".

"I know, isn't it fabulous? I bought THE best personal trainer money could buy!" (What I wish I would say)

"The weight came off really quickly with a strict diet and exercise." (What I normally say)

"I finally got some things straightened out with my doctor. I'm totally changed my lifestyle - eating right, lots of Protein and cutting carbs. And, of course, I'm exercising."

It's more uncomfortable for me when I eat - trying to explain why I'm "eating like a bird". My responses "I had a late lunch" "Oh, I AM going back for seconds, I just don't like my food to touch" "I had a snack before we came here"

Good point about eating with others! I'm only 12 days out so I haven't had to deal with that yet.

And love the name McButterpants ????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
