  4. @@Margie122 yes I've definitely let junk back in my world. Way too much. I need to do a reset as well. I'm working out almost daily with the 30 day shred video for the past week. I'm getting back on track. It's way harder than I thought it would be. I think I've said this every step of the way!
  5. I'm finding it a lot harder to lose now that I'm 8.5 M out. Anyone else?

  13. Fortunately, I don't have the judgey people saying things to my face. It's more of that I'm just tired of talking about my weight loss with everyone. I'm more than my weight loss. I have more to talk about than losing and my new body. Remember all that stuff you wanted to talk about when you weren't telling me how fat I was? Yea, let's talk about those things. It's also a reminder to me how large I really was and I don't like it.

  16. Right there with you. I've started to politely ignore it or thank them and change the subject. Those people don't typically bring it up again after that.

  19. @EbonAngel I worked out a lot in months 2 - 4 but then got pneumonia and then strep and had to rest. Trying to get back to it has been really hard!
  20. Live in Gadsden but had surgery in Anniston by Clifford Black.
  21. Is it too late to be added? 2/21 I was 165.6 Goal for Easter: 150
  22. I'm 6.5 months and 82lbs down. I went for my 6 months follow up Friday and the dr was very pleased. He feels like I should more than reach my goal by 1 year out. SW: 244 (8/18/15), CW: 161.8, GW: 130-135, height 5'1",
  23. Do you have a lot of excess skin? No, not yet. I think I will want a tummy tuck one day but it's not that bad. My legs and arms are jiggly but I can tell a difference in increased muscle tone from working out. I still have a long way to go.
  24. I am finding the same thing. 244-200 were pretty much the same clothes. 200-169 have been a huge difference and I could probably downsize each month if I had the money. Wonder what 169-130 will be like?! So exciting!!
  25. I didn't buy new clothes until about 50 lbs. now at 74 lbs lost I probably need to get some more. Hoping to wait till spring and thankful for leggings and tunics.
  26. I had a strange burning/numbness in my left thigh from months 2-4 post op. Dr. Said it was http://www.m.webmd.com/diabetes/meralgia-paresthetica I'm not diabetic and had no other comorbidities. It went away on its own as I improved my Vitamin and nutrition intake. I struggle with vertigo when I don't drink enough.
  27. I have been public about my VSG since around 3 months post op. I love being told: "I'm proud of you." "I can see how hard you're working to do it the right way." I don't love hearing: "You're wasting away" (nowhere near it) "Woah you lost a ton of weight." "But how are you feeling? Aren't you sick all the time?" (Do I look sick?!) Basically acknowledge my effort and commitment to my health and it makes me feel good. I totally understand that people don't know what to say. I don't know what to think when I look in the mirror. My brain has not adjusted to 74 lbs off in 5.5 months.
