Glad to hear MollyF22. Everyday gets better! My first two days were very rough too. Actually I told my Dr the pain was right up there with the 5 back surgeries I've had!

Hi every one. Been sleeping alot. Trying to stay hydrated and walk as much as I can. I feel like I couldn't sleep in the hospital since the nurses or whoever comes in like every hour. I am home now. Stayed an extra night since I couldn't keep my pills down. I've been staying away from the medicine anyways since I kept throwing up.

I am doing much better then am. Taking my meds and been walking. Staying hydrated too. I've been sleeping in the recliner. Having some random spasms but I just feel like ive pulled my left side. Nothing even on the right hurts. It's horrible throwing up on iv medicine. At one point I didn't take anything because I was tired of getting sick. Each day is going to be better

That is so exciting that your last appointment is tommrow. I hope you hear something quick too. I'm gonna say you will be getting surgery early March. I definitely had regrets after wards. I miss food so bad. My husband and daughter have been eating pizza and chicken nuggets. It smells so good. I have until March 13th to go for puree foods like smooth pb and baby food like stuff. I haven't been doing my Protein Shakes but I plan to start them sometime. I started taking my Vitamins. I have my 1 insicion that hurts pretty bad but I kind of moved alot and wrong last night in the recliner trying to get comfortable. I'm trying to tell myself that food will be my reward soon enough and just relax. My stomach kind of starts hurting when I'm hungry like when it wants to growl but obviously cant. We are gonna have our bad days for sure but I hope it's enough for the outcome

Well I went to my in laws tonight for a bit and then to Kroger. The store was horrible. I ended up dizzy and we didn't stay long. I felt better once I got into the car. I carry my Water every where. Just never know what can happen. I started Greek yogurt and it was heaven. I miss food so bad. Everything sounds so good. I can't wait until April 13th lol.

Glad you get to eat something other than broth. I saw on YouTube a lady who mixed the chicken tortilla broth with cream of chicken Soup and said that was delicious. My last appointment was today. Dee said Diana would submit for precert today or tomorrow. Yikes! It just got real!

Bloomer that's so exciting and I'm so happy. Did you lose anymore weight as your last weigh? You will get weighed 3 more times though before surgery. It's weird because in the hospital they have scales in the bed. They weighed me in my bed while prepping me friday morning. The nurse said i weighed you , do you want to know what it is ? I was like what? Lol. I was confused.

Thank you Kyboo. I'm trying Soup tonight since it's on our list and I'm tired of all the sweet stuff. It's gonna be harder with the soup though since I haven't tried something so filling. We will see how it goes.

I was down .4 so not much of a change but at least in the right direction. Molly did you gain between your last Ivan appointment to your last pre-op?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
