I hope your both doing good. It seems like the 1st day is always so rough. It will be worth it in the end though :)

I just had my 7th visit today with Dr. Ivan. My last 9 month supervised visit will be January 6th. I'm so excited. Thank godness the holidays are coming so it can seem like time is going by faster.

Well they get all our info together from the last 9 months and he said it can take anywhere between 1 week to 45 days. I'm guessing my surgery will be sometime in February. Kind of sucks with the winter. I pray it doesn't snow. I'm about 45 mins from WC so it will be a drive if it does snow. My weight is 273 right now. I was 276 when I started in March. Ivan said my weight has been steady and that's what insurance companies wanna see. My psych eval is in 2 weeks. Hopefully that goes okay too. They weren't that full when I was there at 1230 but when I was leaving, they had like 6 patients waiting.

Oh my yesterday was so painful I could barely stand it! I walked every hr and it helped a little bit. But I swear it felt just like when I had my heart attack. But today was much better! They did try everything to help with the aim tho. Lots of dilodid and moray shots on top of the OxyContin 39 I take for my back. But nothing helped at all until this morning.

How are you doing chicken & Perk?

Okay ladies I feel miserable! I am going to give a serious effort to start tracking food and exercising. I am totally out of control. I think I need to stop drinking coffee because I use vanilla Creamer and generally eat something high carb and sweet with my morning cup. I've got a menu planned for the week and will track food and exercise in MFP. I'm stressed about weighing in Wed. for Ivan. I'm going to return to my boot camp classes which I love, it's just taking that first step and showing up to class. I'm going to weigh in the morning and I've taken measurements. Be sure to ask me how it's going and help keep me accountable.

The first day was absolutely awful!! Getting better day by day as far s the air. But good news is since Wednesday morning I've went from 201.9 to 195.6 and still have swelling in my stomach. But been sip sip sipping and walk walk walking too. Around the room only. Not getting much liquid down at all yet tho.

I hope you all are doing well and I hope things are getting better.

I had my pulmonary clearance today and all he did was check my lungs and said I was clear. So that's one thing down for my insurance. Just got a cardiology clearance to do now. I can't even believe it's November.

Good luck with your sleep study @@Tssiemer1! :) it will be okay!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
