2 days post bodylift

Recommended Posts

I was wondering how you were doing! I'm 5 weeks post lower body lift today. My recliner has been my best friend. I've yet to sleep in my bed. My doc says to move/ change positions every 2 hours to prevent too much pressure on one single area of the suture. So pillows to go under my hip has been really helpful. And let others turn you, don't try to do it by yourself.

It takes a while to get your appetite back. I'm still not "hungry" feeling even now. Because of complications post sleeve I don't eat much anyway except Protein bars. But that gets your nutrition in and isn't too much. I think the binder adds to that restrictive feeling you get when you try to eat.

Hope your recovery goes well!! Rest, rest, rest!!!

My doc said not to use the recliner. To stay in bed. And just turn every 2/4 hours. I am laying on my side every now n then.

A 360 body lift is a Tummy Tuck all the way around it helps lift the thighs and remove extra skin in the back booty area.

Your picture looks incredibly good. One good surgeon must have been working on one great body. Rest, heal and enjoy the body you have worked so hard to get.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
