3 month WL STALL

Recommended Posts

Hi I'm feeling disappointed and I don't know how to make things better..... I haven't seen any loses in about 3 months. I went to my doctor and he told me to take CLA and liquid creatine which worked for a week than nothing . I mostly eat eggs--- whites when possible, grilled chicken and sandwich wraps .... Any advice would be great

I would go see a nutritionist and go through a weeks worth of your food to determine what might be preventing your loss. I see my NUT monthly to keep me accountable. I do have to pay out of pocket for that though. If you find that it is not your food, then you might what to have some blood work done and check if maybe you have a hormonal issue. From what I understand weight loss is about 80% diet and 20% exercise, so make sure you exercise frequently and change your routine every 4 weeks. I really wish you the best of luck and please keep me updated.

I'd definitely see your nutritionist and discuss your diet.

Do you note down everything you have, calories, Protein, carbs etc etc ?

Barring a medical problem, three months without weight loss isn't a stall, it's maintenance. If you aren't, you need to carefully log everything you are eating (weigh and measure your portions) in a program such as myfitnesspal. "Sandwich wraps" are notoriously high calorie and high carb with all that bread and usually stuff like mayo, cheese, etc. This will help you figure out what's going on and come up with a plan of attack to get back in weight loss mode.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
