Have any of you gotten breast lifts after all this weight loss and was it covered by insurance?

Yes to the first part of your question (I got a boob job), no to the second part (my insurance would have laughed at me).

I got mine reduced and lifted ten years ago when I was thin. LOVE it. Gained 50 pounds and they still looked good. Now post sleeve I'm down 23 pounds and they're as good as they ever were. I'm 53 and could (but wouldn't) go bra free. Scars seemed radical at first, but now they're barely visible. Insurance wouldn't pay then when they were heavy and caused shoulder problems. I seriously doubt they'd pay for a lift.

I had breast lift with augmentation after losing 90 pounds "on my own" back in 2011. My breasts were tiny little, sad, empty sacks at that point.

My insurance doesn't cover any skin removal or plastic surgery after weight loss.

I'm planning on a breast lift with augmentation once I've reached my goal weight. Out of the four plastic surgeons I've seen in consultation, only one advised to do the procedure now...the others were strongly opposed to it until I lost all the weight.

I think you are MUCH better off until you are done losing weight and have maintained for at least a couple of months. Some recommend a year of maintenance, but I think 4-6 months would probably be adequate.

I had breast lift with augmentation after losing 90 pounds a few years ago. I since regained 80 of that, ultimately got sleeved, and now I am below the weight I'd been at when I got them done. The weight regain and loss definitely took a bit of a toll on the lift part. They are saggier again now than I would like them to be and I'm considering a revision. In any case, my point is that it's best to be at a stable weight, because additional weight loss or gain after the procedure can effect your long-term results.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
