The skin on my face developed very fine wrinkles. My wife suggested that I use BioOil which is available at CVS and other drug stores. I followed her advice and applied it once each morning and that fixed the problem.

Congratulations! You have made excellent progress in the short 10 weeks. You should be very proud of yourself!

Dry skin does seem to be pretty common with WLS. It is usually a sign that you are not getting enough fluids. For the most part my dry skin got under control when I was finally able to get the 48 to 64 ounces of Water in on a daily basis.

I just used Aveeno lotion every day, multiple times a day.

My skin is better than it was at 10 wks, I am using a heavy cream to help with it. I continue to push the liquid. I have had several people try to sell me Vitamins and stuff that are suppose to help but I want to win this battle on my own!!

My surgeon suggested using ankle weights when I walk and bike. Don't think that when I go to spin class I will use them but rather on my bike outside. Handheld weights while you walk would probably be helpful as well!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
