My surgeon's office suggests multiple powders. EAS is very reasonable and sugar free (sold at WalMart) If you add PB2 to that is really helps! I've used the premade shakes but if you make it I'm sure it can even taste better!

Thank you so much for the link!!! Very helpful!!

@@micnic1027 I'm going through upmc hamot bariatric center for my wls. They gave me a sheet saying I have to stick to these certain ones and there's only four and all four are expensive ????

I am also getting my sleeve done a upmc hamot. Just went for surgery clearance today. How far along in the process are you? Who is your doctor?

@@beachgirl2015 I've only had one visit so far and my surgery will hopefully be Jan 16'. My Dr is Dr Asad. I'm relieved hearing someone else is going to the same place lol I thought I was the only one!

I've noticed by going into stores and comparing protein that an Isolate has the same amount of protein but fewer everything else, such as carbs, cals, sugars, etc. Are we able to use an isolate?

I don't remember them saying anything about that one. I have tried the bariatric fusion I thought it was horrible. I like the premier protein from Wal-Mart. I also just tried a sample of unjury I got from the doctors office and it was really good.

I drink premier protein for quick ready to go ideas, but I also purchased Genepro on ebay. It is a tasteless protein powder I can put in anything and I swear you dont even know it is there. It is 30g of protein for one little scoop. Can put it in soup, yougurt, pudding drinks etc

I'm definitely gonna be investing in plain protein powder. I think its an extremely smart idea especially for people like us who live on it lol

Ya its pricey but worth it. I believe a 30 serving container will run about $40 after shipping. I invested in the 90 servings and paid $106 and got free shipping
