  1. @@bam052005 I am sorry your having all of those problems. Try not to push your self to hard and move into things to fast. I am only 2 weeks post op and have been lucky with very little problems. But I am also young like you and I agree that a lot of people don't understand what your going through enless they have been there. I'm always here if you need someone to talk to! Good luck on your journey!
  2. I got my sleeve September 16th. I have been feeling really good. Already walking 2 miles a day. Would love to chat with someone who had it around the same time and share stories!!!
  3. I was sleeved September 16th. Things have been going way better then I expected. I only used pain meds 2 times while in the hospital, none since I have been home. I have been doing great getting all my fluids in. I tried some soup tonight for the first time and could not eat much of it at all without feeling full. The abdominal binder they had me wear after surgery was and still is a life saver! Wish everyone the best of luck just keep doing your best.

  12. Hello I am 28 years old. I have always been overweight. I have also tried every diet with no success. I married my husband 8 years ago. We have been trying to have children since with no luck, was always told my weight was the problem. I found out in June I had PCOS and was told I would not get pregnant at the weight I was. So my doctor suggested surgery. I started this journey in June and weighed in at 346. My surgery is set for September 16th. I am excited and nervous. I am 7 days into my pre op liquid diet. It is going good for me, was a little ruff at first, I have not cheated. When I started the liquid diet I weighed in at 326. I walk/jog at least 2 miles a day. Today weighed 316. 30 pounds total 10 pounds during the 7 days of liquid. I really want to be able to keep this motivation I have after surgery and see great results. I will not let my self fail. Good luck to all the September and future sleevers!!! Does anyone have suggestions on what I should take to the hospital during my stay?

  17. @@dmc7399 I was in the same boat as you when I started and went to my consultation 4 months ago. I am getting sleeved on September 16th! My advise is to start doing little things now that you will have to do after surgery it has made it so much easier. I would love to talk and share stuff with you and we could both be support!
  18. I just got my call today, 20 hours after it was submitted to me insurance and I was approved! My surgery is set for September 16th! Anyone else getting it around then? Would love to share some tips!
  19. I don't remember them saying anything about that one. I have tried the bariatric fusion I thought it was horrible. I like the premier protein from Wal-Mart. I also just tried a sample of unjury I got from the doctors office and it was really good.
  20. @@glitterpockets the time will go by fast! I have Dr kalim I am so glad to finally meet some one else who is going to the same place as me. Maybe we could talk and share information.
