Days like today are the days that previous diets have failed me. It has been a busy day where everything that can go wrong does. I was getting bombarded from all directions. Work was so trying and stressful, house is a wreck, teens with last minute plans, trying to squeeze in time with grandkids, friends needing my help, husband pretty much nonexistent as always. If I didn't have my sleeve, I would have pulled right into McDonalds tonight as I headed out for yet another late night work call. But I'm very proud of myself. I walked my first full mile at the gym without stopping, I got in just under 750 calories, 85 gr of Protein, and 64 ounces of Water. The only thing I forgot was my supplements. Thank goodness for my Sleeve!!! I am so glad I made this choice. I will not fail even when the world is going crazy around me!!!

Congratulations on making great food choices in the midst of chaos! You're right, it's so much easier to just grab some fast food and keep burning the candle at both ends and in the middle. But I'm inspired by your post and the next time I have a crazy hectic day, I'm going to remember this because I have ZERO excuse since I have nowhere near the number of things to juggle as you do and you still stayed on track. Thanks for sharing!

Great job !!! You have a crazy life and still put yourself 1st ! Way to go ! I rarely eat fast food, but I will say in an absolute pinch the McDonald s bacon ranch salad with grilled chicken is very good. Since I can just eat a little bit of it, with a tiny bit of dressing, I don't worry about the fat or calories , but it fills me up and the chicken is very good for an "emergency meal ". Just a thought.

All what you said is why I leave home with ALL my food for the entire day. Life is crazy and stressful. Sometimes I find myself grazing all day long. I pack my small cooler every morning. Sometimes I eat it all and sometimes I don't, but I'm prepared. Stay focused on you, and stay happy.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
