Embarrassing tummy picture 8 months post-op!

  • Popular Post

Well I say embarrassing but not really. I'm pretty proud of the 90 yr old woman looking belly!! I've been asked a lot about how the stomach looks after losing so much weight....well here's mine. It's not perfect, I never expected it to be so I guess that's why it doesn't bother me to show it. I'm 34, I've had 3 c-sections and 5 wonderful VSG stabbings so to say my body/stomach has been through some trauma is an understatement. It's ok though, when the time comes if I feel I want it fixed then so be it but until then I'm not hiding her from the world anymore. Set goals, strive for excellence but remain realistic and you won't be disappointed. Be proud of what you have/are accomplishing. We can be our own worst critics! PS: There is a C-section roll hiding under those pants, don't be fooled!! :) My pup pup in the background is not impressed but I put him on a diet so...... ;)

Congrats! You look great.

@@Elode - I think your Mommy/Sleeved tummy looks great. You should be proud :D

Mine looks nothing like that, unfortunately, but I do like to get some sun on it and get a little color so it doesn't look quite as icky :)

Odd thing is the stretch marks show up more now....well I guess it not too odd the skin is deflated it just never crossed my mind that that would happen.

very true!

You look amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing better than the war wounds that come with the knowledge that you have finally lost the weight. Well done

You look normal for a mom, what more can we expect!

Looks like my tummy...80lbs gone and its a sad situation. Been running a ton the last three months and its toning up, underneath the loose skin. :D Thanks for sharing!

yep looks like mine!minus the incisions.i had single incision thru my belly button,no scar at all just loose skin and stretch marks!

Has anyone tried stomach wraps, cinching, stomach supports similar to pregnancy ones.?.?

im doing the wraps.my boyfriend did one and what an amazing difference!i have 3 months on order for myself!!im using itworks.my friend sells them!

Ya, buns of steel, but a belly of jelly, that's me (well the buns aren't actually steel, but they don't look lite two big barrels anymore). Gotta take the good with the bad!
