  6. Just to clarify!! I'm not saying it is easy to lose weight and if you have a problem with food I know it is very difficult, I just never understood the Tumor talk, specially when people didn't really ask her
  7. You know? This reminded me of my sister, she is about 400lbs, mind you I know this girl my whole life and know she doesn't have any illness that contributes to her weight loss, she had the lap band done but didn't lose any weight (I read that it isn't very effective but people still lose some weight?) and kept eating the same way; however, she keeps telling people she has a tumor that makes her gain weight ????
  8. My gf started acting funny when I told her bout the surgery and she even admitted that she was scared afterwards I'll get side lovers or something. We broke up right before surgery I've read many stories, at the end I hope she is supportive with you but if she's not you need to take care of yourself, be healthy for yourself.
  9. I was prescribed omeprazole as well for stomach acid, the first few days after surgery I wasn't taking it because I felt I had so many pills (I'm not a pill person at all) but ended up always hungry the NUT said was stomach acid and to take the pill and it did help.
  10. I think a month should be enough, I was freaking out because the doctor had schedule my surgery for a month since I had recently smoked and then there I went and had a cigarette and I was freaking out so I did a lot of research usually what they say they look for is Cotinine which stays in your system for about a week from what I've read, nicotine stays 2-4 days, I think you'll be alright. Good luck
  11. I'm going thru the same thing, I'm glad the second stage solved it for you and many others, I hope it will be the same for me because I feel so hungry and then I don't know if it's head hunger or actual hunger, I thought it could be the acid but I've been drinking the acid blockers, I start purée food on Tuesday, I'm so excited lol.
  12. I try not to but I've noticed I'm weighing myself everyday, I'll try not to tho I feel is not very good for me, I like to see weekly results and NSV
  13. Ok thanks guys! I'll contact my surgeon, I just get a little panicky sometimes, and yes @@WL WARRIOR I can only sleep on my back too, actually I feel a little relieve that this is I guess normal, and if you can find it I'll appreciate it if not is ok too thank you @@FFDoc180 again thanks!
  14. I didn't receive nothing like that is the same pain but now is constant, if it continues I think I'm going to the ER because it really starts to hurt a lot
  15. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong lace :/
  16. Hey guys! So I'm 4 days post op and I'm in so much pain, they prescribed me the Percocet but it only alleviates the pain slightly, I can barely move, I still do my walks tho but to lay down or get up or even walking in hunched over because of the pain, is this normal? How did you cope with the pain?
  17. Yes she was worried about it too but we had different surgeries so I wasn't sure how many similarities there is, I'm so thankful for this forum and everybody in it thanks!
