Going Bariatric Bananas! Lol!

I'm 5 days out of surgery and going bananas because I'm EXTREMELY hungry! Is this normal?

Called my dr and he told me add my Protein and cream Soups. Well that didn't work either.

I feel like I have a bottomless pit.

Anyway.....any good advice or jokes are welcome! ????

I was still hungry in stage two but not as bad. Once you can do pureed and soft foods you'll see a huge difference and will really feel the restriction and will feel full when you eat. If you can get through these first couple of weeks you'll be fine. I promise.

thanks so much!! i needed to hear that!

I was exactly the same way. With each stage it gets better.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I hear it gets easier! I have one more week of liquids then I start soft foods.

I couldn't even eat 3 baby forks of fish and veggies but it solved the hunger. thank god!

wanted to mention please discuss adding any foods to your diet with your doctor first. My healing process and tummy may be different from someone elses. Jus sayin ????

I'm going thru the same thing, I'm glad the second stage solved it for you and many others, I hope it will be the same for me because I feel so hungry and then I don't know if it's head hunger or actual hunger, I thought it could be the acid but I've been drinking the acid blockers, I start purée food on Tuesday, I'm so excited lol.
