  6. You are lucky to be on puréed foods already. I had my sleeve done Tuesday and was put on liquids for 21 days post op. I want some texture so bad!
  7. I was wondering if anyone uses my fitness pal? I had the gastric sleeve on Tuesday so I'm 4 days post op. I would like to have some people to follow so I can have good examples of what others are doing. I'm still on liquids now, but would like some support for the future.
  8. The first time was a band to sleeve revision and I had so much scar tissue that I don't think the dr was able to remove as much as my stomach. I am using the same doctor and he is going back in to resleeve and do the fundus.
  9. How has it been for you? I get re-sleeved on Monday.
  10. My doctor did the EDG and saw it had stretched.
  11. Has anyone had the gastric sleeve a 2nd time? I go on April 25th to be re-sleeved and have what is called a fundectomy. I am just wondering if anyone else has done this so I know what to expect. From what I hear from the doctor it should be just like the first time I had the sleeve surgery. For those curious, I had the surgery almost three years ago and was self-pay. The process went extremely fast and before I knew it, I was having the surgery. (The whole process took like 4 weeks since I was self pay.) Turns out I wasn't prepared for the surgery and didn't do very well long term. I didn't utilize the nutritionist or therapy and I am back to where I was pre-surgery. This time around I have done all the necessary steps to prepare myself for this life change and fell that I am ready to do this again and be successful! Just wondering if anyone else has has had this done? Please no negative comments!
  12. I am on day three and struggling so bad! I just want this headache to go away and I want FOOD!

  15. I'm struggling, I'm not going to lie. I know the first few days will be tough.
  16. That's my surgery date too!! I started my 2 week pre-op diet today. I am allowed one meal a day and 4 shakes. I am trying to chug water to keep full.
  17. I just started my 2 week pre-op diet today. I can have one meal a day and shakes for the rest with up to 4 shakes a day. It's only 10:22am and I already struggling! It's the head hunger!!
  18. When do you start your pre-op diet?
  19. I have fundus at the top. I am being resleeved to get it removed.
  20. I have the same issues and my therapist stresses mindfulness as well. It's hard but it's all in our heads. It truly is about being mindful of what we are putting into our mouths and why. Good luck!
  21. Has anyone had their gastric sleeve done twice? Mine has stretched out over the past 3 years and I am having the surgery done again. Just wanted to see If anyone else has done this?
