Embarrassing tummy picture 8 months post-op!

  • Popular Post

Well I say embarrassing but not really. I'm pretty proud of the 90 yr old woman looking belly!! I've been asked a lot about how the stomach looks after losing so much weight....well here's mine. It's not perfect, I never expected it to be so I guess that's why it doesn't bother me to show it. I'm 34, I've had 3 c-sections and 5 wonderful VSG stabbings so to say my body/stomach has been through some trauma is an understatement. It's ok though, when the time comes if I feel I want it fixed then so be it but until then I'm not hiding her from the world anymore. Set goals, strive for excellence but remain realistic and you won't be disappointed. Be proud of what you have/are accomplishing. We can be our own worst critics! PS: There is a C-section roll hiding under those pants, don't be fooled!! :) My pup pup in the background is not impressed but I put him on a diet so...... ;)

@@Willow822 Thank you but I'm really not, I'm curvy!! I actually ordered some spanks for the first time a few moths ago. I love them but they are not the easiest things to put on. I learned the hard way to be completely dry after a shower before trying. Talk about frustrating ! I also have to have my daughter help me sometimes, which is even more frustrating because she is always laughing too hard at my struggle.

@@Elode is that a Jack Russell in the photo by your feet ? :)

He's my precious little fur baby! He's fully grown (3) I put him on a diet, he may look small but he's 19lbs and he's only suppose to be 9-12 lbs. he's a wide butt ;) but that face just demands treats....

@@Elode, I applaud your candidness. I'm hiding my loose tummy skin from the world as best I can. (Which is not actually working too well. In most of my outfits I look like a 61-year old pregnant woman.) But I'll take loose skin over obesity and ill health any day.

You can cover your tummy up. You're healthy and happy. I'm sure that's the least of your worries.

You look amazing.

You look great and I am proud of you for your weight control ....and posting a pic of part of your body you are not so pleased with. That took a lot of strength and I'm not sure many of us would do that.

So, for today, you are my hero!

@@IcanMakeit Yes! You have to look at the bright side! Plus I'm like really who cares!! I'm not trying to impress anyone, I'm already married! I'm not out showing my stomach to everyone...just the 100,000+ people on here ;)

@@Julie norton Ha! Well thank you! I know people like to see things like that. I know I wanted to see it and still do love looking at people's progress pictures, it keeps me motivated when the kids are surrounding me with junk food daily!
