Really !? , what part ?

Hey ladies... I'm just starting and I should be around Nov or Dec.... I have to do a 3 month supervised diet. My first appt is this Friday...I'm from Killeen Texas and I'm very excited about my new life.

I'm thinking January for mine..earliest I can have it is December. My insurance resets December 1 so that won't factor. I just don't want to be recovering at Christmas. I'm in Maryland (not too far from Jersey) I'm meeting the NUT tomorrow, the upper GI Friday and psych evaluation is next Monday. August is month 3 for me my biggest fear is the insurance denying me.

I'm tentatively planning for December 22nd. Just started this process and hoping the process itself isn't discouraging. I'm in Oklahoma.

I see on here that people have waited months for surgery

The diets are different and I'm wondering why the vast difference.

I'm finishing up with my 6 month monitored weight loss in early November so it's looking like my surgery will most likely be in early December. It seems so far away!

Yes it does seem far away but I'm hoping with doctors appointments and work that the time will go by fast and I will be on the losers bench in December.

Me too.... are you trying to lose weight before the surgery?

Yes . I want to lose about 30-40 so I can be closer to my goal weight after surgery
