How long did you have between ins approv. and surgery?

How long did you have between insurance approval and surgery? I know it is going to vary largely by clinic, but I am trying to get an idea of what I can expect for my timeline. I am in a serious time crunch, and my office is not being particularly proactive in getting me scheduled...

honestly i was approved on a friday and on tuesday i was in surgery, lol now i cannot say that will happen for anyone else.

I was approved 7/3 and surgery date is 7/29.

Was approved 7/7 and surgery is 8/10

I was approved on 7/6 and surgery is on 7/27.

@@skyjones I'm doing well. The first 2 days post op were challenging but now im starting to figure things out. Once the staples were removed a lot of the discomfort subsided. I have the same challenges as everyone else: figuring out how to get all protein and fluids in on a daily basis and figuring out more variety in my meal choices. Im staying positive and active (i've been walking a lot) trying to avoid disappointment by not weighing too often ( goal is maybe 1/wk)

For the lap band surgery it was 2 months. For the revision to the sleeve it was 2 weeks.

I was approved 7 weeks ago and my surgery is the 29th. My surgeons office may do it different but I needed to get approval from insurance before they had me do all the pre-op testing and get PCP clearance. Unfortunately, it took me over 3 weeks to get in to see my PCP.
