Here are mine, sorry it's the best picture I have the one on the left is the week after surgery and the one on the right is this week. 8 months. It's pretty much faded, as you can see a couple scars is the least of my stomachs problems! :) I also had 3 c sections.

I am 3wks out. Haven't used anything for scars yet.

Btw I have 2 more that I couldn't get in the shot. These are my biggest incisions.

12 months post-op. I have 4 scars - one of the "most visible" in this photo is actually a birth mark! I can't wait to get a Tummy Tuck to remove these signs of WLS!

I didn't take pictures before but they were raised, red and lumpy. I'm Black and tend to keloid. I used scarfade gel initially. I've used it on scars I had on my face from shingles and knew it worked really well for me. That flattened them and helped reduce the redness. When I ran out I was using bio-oil . This helped fade them a bit. You can still see one or two ,but most are unnoticeable.

This is the single incision right above the belly button. It is almost invisible.

bottom pic is 10 months post op. You really can't see them. I'm happy with my surgeon for being so careful. Even through all the tiger stripes. 5# to goal!! Cw 137

This my big incision from my lap band surgery 3 years ago. It was 3 inches across. I had two others that were less thank an inch, but I can't even find them anymore. If my sleeve scars end up looking the same 3 years from my upcoming revision, I'll be happy????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
