I got my date - August 5th - 8:00am. I'm so excited now that it's finally scheduled. Still some tests to do but the time off is scheduled with the employer and short-term medical leave applied for. Family flying in to take me there and stay with me for a while after. It's all coming together.

I'm scheduled for August 4th. Started 2week pre-op diet today!!

My surgery date is Aug 3. Officially started liquid diet today (unofficially started 2 weeks ago, my own doing....) looking forward to the next step in this journey. Good to see people at the same junction.

No I am not Kaiser. Having it done Cedars Sinai, 8/3. I've been trying to do the 3 shakes a day and 1 meal, working OK, but tomorrow really starts my 2 week preop. Wednesday have a 2 hour seminar, then my pre-op with doc. Good luck to everyone, getting reaaaaly nervous, but excited too.

August 10th for me! I find myself thinking about my new self contanstly. Each time i can't do something easily or take my medicine or use my cpap at night I just feel an overwhelming hope of being able to be rid of them. July 16th is preop boot camp. July 27th full liquid diet starts. I will do what I gotta do!!!

My date is also the 10th. And I start my liquid diet next Monday.
