Bite per minute? Seems impossible, any advice?

Recommended Posts

I am having the hardest time trying to take 20 minutes to eat a meal, chewing thoroughly and eating one bite per minute.

If I do other things while eating I can do it, but if I were to sit down to eat (almost impossible sometimes with a 10 month old lol) I get bored trying to wait that long and it's hard not to eat fast like I am used to :-/

I almost have to stand while eating and take bites in between doing other things.

My food gets cold in the meantime but I guess I can deal with that.

I find it very hard to take 20-30 minutes to eat as well. That's probably the main thing I do wrong. I honestly just try to do my best. I try to remember to put my fork down with each bite. Not much help I know but it's the area I still struggle with as well.

Good luck!

I have this eat slowly app, which helps me know when I can take the next bite and how far through my meal I should be

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
