I'm almost two years out and I'm out of control. I can't stop eating and it scares me. I was separated from my husband during my surgery and for recovery and since we've been back together it's been nothing but junk food and eating when I'm not even hungry. Does anyone have suggestions?????

Hi. I had my gastric bypass in October of 2013. I live in Illinois. I started at 318 and was down to 226. Now I found out I gained 30 pounds back. I am so upset. I stress eat. A horrible eating disorder. I have to work on getting this 30 pounds off. I totally know how you feel. We have to keep reminding ourselves what we went through to get to have the surgery. I wish you the best. I think we can do it.

I'm almost 2 years out. Started eating very badly again. My husband decided to go on weight watchers so I joined with him. I lost 7 lbs in the first 2 weeks by just cutting out the crap! Back to healthier food makes a huge difference. I am only 12 pounds from my lowest weight but I didn't want it to continue to creep back.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
