Cooling down.in.summer

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone I'm only 10 days out but I have a question. I'm wondering how it was of you who have experienced hot summer is or who live in warmer climates keep cool. we get some pretty hot summers out here in BC and I have always got through them by gulping down bottles of cold Water. I now find that I can only take a few sips here and there and I'm wondering how I'm going to cool down this summer?

You will find as you lose weight, you will be so much cooler than before. You will even get to a certain point where you're COLD all the time! I'm not going to miss the constantly sweaty summers ;)

O thanks babbs I never thought of that before... I'm 10 days post op and have about 2 more months until our summer hit so hopefully I can be down 40 lbs by then. That would certainly make a difference :-)

Don't forget, in 2 months, you'll be able to drink much more and more often than you can now. And as I lost weight, I didn't have as much insulation to keep me hot. Losing a few inches here and there really does make a difference in how hot you feel. :-P

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
