Day 1 of pre-op diet.

Recommended Posts

Hey. Sorry I have been away from this. I'm on day 2 of post op and I'm doing well. No issues and moving along. I start full liquids tomorrow. Still a little gas here and there but other than that and lack of sleep I'm good. How about you?

Yeah same here. I'm still not sleeping that well but it's improving. Other than that everything is going well. Water and Protein Shakes are going down great. Gonna walk a bunch more today since the weather is nice.

Waynejr83 im having a tough time getting Water and Protein down, seems like my tastebuds hate them i tried sugar free Jello and pop sickles and they seemed way to sweet. Any pointers?

I wish I had some tips. I seem to be getting everything down just find. As long as the Water and shakes are cold. I mix Jello in between Almost have a whole shake in today. Have you tried different flavored waters?

I have been eating Jello and Popsicles I ran out of shakes and can't drive so hoping my friend can take me to get them tomorrow. I swore I had more but couldn't find them. My first dr appointment is Tuesday

Oh man. Sorry your having those issues. Hope it turns around. My only issue out of all this is I'm not sleeping well. It's frustrating! I did notice today without my shakes I found myself a little more hungry than usual. Getting more shakes tomorrow.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
