Hi I'm confused because I was supposed to have gastric bypass and I got to sleeved on Tuesday during surgery due to scar tissue. All the information I have is for Vitamins I'm supposed to take for the gastric bypass but I'm not sure if they're the same or if the sleeve requires you to take less does anyone have a list of vitamins that they take daily and how much? How often? Appreciate any feedback.

My doctor is fairly conservative and recommends the same vitamin/supplement regimen as bypass pts. I would start that and call your doctor's office in the morning for clarification.

My doctors store sold me a very high quality Multivitamin, to take twice a day plus Iron an c. Then told us to get Vitamins for hair, body an nail because we would lose hair by three months. You should also be meeting a person to tell you what to eat an drink after 2 Weeks, then 4 an 6. They give you a new diet an orders for vitamins each time.

I was given a handbook that outlined everything from day 1 to a year out. I meet with the nutritionist at every f/u appointment. I can also contact my team via phone if it's a emergency or email for non urgent issues.

I was only given a stack of papers every time I met with nutritionist every two weeks, then 4-6 then 2_3_4 months. Each time we were given a new packet of instructions. But if you aren't sure call an ask the nutritionist.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
