My pooch is gross

Recommended Posts

I feel as if my pooch is getting bigger. I am doing everything right.

Exercising and eating right. I started my journey Jan 28 225 lbs and I weighed in at 188 today. I can't seem to get passed 188. Please any help would be great.

I feel you. But I had twins almost 30 years ago and have accepted that I will need plastic surgery to get rid of it. However right now, I'm loving my smaller body! I put on a Maidenform shaper tank or some high waisted shaper underwear and get my skinnier self going. Get a longline tank for now. The pooch will shrink some...depending on your age and skin elasticity. No hope for mine...but it's ok.

Congrats on the weight loss, bet you look fab in clothes!

Sounds to me like you've just hit the dreaded "first stall". Most people will experience this a few times during their journey. Your body just has to catch up and realize that you're not trying to starve yourself, so it won't try to hold on to every ounce of fat/energy that you have.

My first stall lasted 5 weeks. Be patient. You will start losing again.

know you are beautiful. It's all a part of our battle wounds with weight loss surgery. Shapers will help. If you are lucky enough to afford plastic's that's great. There are worse things in life than loose skin. ;)

Right there with you, but when I wear shapers, everything is smoothed out well enough. I know I'll need a tt someday, but that will have to wait until after I'm done having kids!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
