who will bill the insurance company to do a hernia repair or gallbladder removal and have a special gastric sleeve surgery out of pocket price. In Texas, Mississippi, would be great if you could share it with me. I have health insurance now and I could definitely go about it in the united states now. Thanks everyone for all your advice :) this website is awesome! I've found out a lot from this site along :)

I believe Dr. Nicholson and Dr. Kim (different practices, both in Dallas area) do it.

I think they charge around 3k for the out of pocket portion.

Go to their website. It states it on there for the prices. Also TrueResults.com in Texas does the same thing and charges $3500 cash for the Gastric sleeve surgery.

Dr. Nicholson is affiliated with True Results? I'm not sure.

@@peteyrulz - He is listed on the trueresults.com website as a surgeon.

@ - Sorry for so many questions, I cannot find the pricing on the Nicholson Clinic website. I emailed them today, they had me send in my insurance paperwork. They said price depends on insurance, which is confusing and seems odd to me.

Peteyrulz.. I'm not sure if he is affiliated with TrueResults but true results has a cash pay price of $3500 with the fix of a hernia or gallbladder.

Njones916.. That's fine :) this site is amazing! I have found out so much from on here from everyone. Whatever the insurance doesn't cover, you'll pay in cash, which I don't think is that much. Depending on your insurance coverage amount. I'm waiting for my insurance papers and card to come in so I could submit the info to them to see to. Its a great price. Cheaper so far.

Thanks Mrs S! I now see on the Nicholson Clinic website that there's a True Results button. I'm blind as a bat!

This is what I'm going to try, as I do have hiatal hernia. Lisa @ Nick confirmed they do the self-pay sleeve for less while repairing hernia which should be covered by ins. We haven't talked numbers yet.

That sounds great! So far I've only found places in Texas that are doing the gastric sleeve and band that way. That's much better. They are looking out for everybody :) I am sure I have a hernia as well because my acid reflux and heart burn is horrible especially if I eat after 6pm. I am damn near in tears suffering from it. Its horrible I tell you. If only my jobs insurance paperwork and card would come in fast enough. I'm ready to put my deposit down with Dr Garcia in Mexico. Its taking to long.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
