What diet is everyone allowed to advance to at 3 weeks post op? Comparing notes.....

I was sleeved on the 4th as well. How are you doing? I'm having trouble drinking enough water. Protein is easy, shakes, cottage cheese, greek yogurt. I had potato soup today and tried some cream of wheat, both went down well, no problems. I can eat only 2oz of cottage cheese but oddly the 5oz yogurt goes down easier. I'm down 18lbs since surgery. I had serious "buyers remorse" the first week. I still have thoughts of "why did I do this" but I hope they go away as I get out of the immediate post-op phase.

Yes, I had surgery the 4th and recovered well. Off pain meds day 3, no complications at all...... Except I'm hungry all time which I wasn't before. Nothing seems to satisfy it. I'm hoping that since I advance diet today it will be better. I licked a French fry the other night. I've dropped 20 lbs so far and I'm following my post op menu. Something's not right

I totally agree, all I want is pickles and buttered popcorn today.... The struggle is real

I'm 5 days post op and seriously thinking what is wrong with me for doing this during the holidays!! I'm experiencing the same. I'm not feeling full. Physically I'm great no pain, no complications. I'm trying to say busy so I don't think about food. It's everywhere though!

I had the sleeve Monday. I'm 35 - 252lbs - 5'3". I'm doing well with recover. The gas is the most painful part.

@@peteyrulz - He is listed on the trueresults.com website as a surgeon. @ - Sorry for so many questions, I cannot find the pricing on the Nicholson Clinic website. I emailed them today, they had me send in my insurance paperwork. They said price depends on insurance, which is confusing and seems odd to me.

I am trying to contact his office about this, she had no idea what I am talking about. Can you share who you spoke with? Thanks!

So, let me get this straight. Dr Nicholson will do a Sleeve surgery for $2100 cash - while repairing a hiatel hernia and billing my insurance for that?

I hate to say it, but I cancelled my surgery last week. I was suppose to have it today. My family got the best of me and in the end I gave up and just cancelled it....

I just put my daughter to bed, she said that she wanted me to go and "be skinny so that I can have more energy".....that was it, that was enough to reaffirm my decision to do this.... I want the energy to play with her and be the best mom I can be..... Thank you guys for your encouraging words

Having a really really bad today, pretty much complete breakdown. Cried all the way to my daughters school this morning and the tears are running again now.... Seriously thinking about cancelling. My daughter is freaking out, she is 7, she doesnt want me to leave and never come home. My husband is freaking over financials and now I am too...... I have been fine up until this last week.... I am 2 seconds away from cancelling the entire thing!!

Oh boy, that would be a question for your dr...... I would ask sooner rather than later.
