I am a year out from my surgery and my hope is that I see you on the other side...if you are really nervous, ask your anesthesiologist for versed before heading into the room, if will make you less nervous seeing all those people and also help you not remember if god forbid you accidently metabolize the anaesthesia too quickly. December 2, 20178 yr Author All went well, surgeon said it couldn’t have gone better. Pains much better this morning, but I still feel as though I’ve been kicked in the chest. Breathing in deeply still hurts a lot too.Burping apparently helps with gas pain. Still haven’t eaten anything, but taking small sips. I’m about to go in for my x-ray and then I can go home - a bit nervous of how I’ll be at home, but I think I will be ok if the pain medication is good.Love to you all and blessings. Even in pain I know this is the best decision of my life Xxxx
