40 Days post-op Tomorrow, what are you eating?

Recommended Posts

Tomorrow is my day 40 Post-op!!! Yay!! What do your daily diets/meals look like?

I have read so many posts, and watched so many you-tube videos. Some eat very low carbs, no fruits and some eat it all... I don't want to mess up my "sweet" losing period by doing it wrong.

Im 5 weeks out and had my post op appointment this week and I'm still not allowed much. I'm wonder what everyone else is eating too!! No raw foods til 3 months no carbs til 5-6 months. I'm actually going to call this week because I have some questions. Can I have nuts soon? Dried fruit ? Protein Bars like Quest ? I feel so bored of Protein Shakes !! Im basically eating shakes, yogurt and dinner a Protein like chicken/fish or eggs but can only do about 1 ounce. Also I'm not allowed any type of Tomato sauce ! ????

I ate everything at the 5-6 week mark, though in small quantities. Protein needs to be the focus of course. But it was nice to taste other things also.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
