Passed out cold last night.

So I have been dizzy for a while now, usually I can just hold on to something to steady myself. I am within 1 pound of my ULTIMATE goal of 149 i am 5'9" tall, so although that may sound like it's still a lot, I am really tall. So anyway I ahve talked to both my PCP and surgeon regarding this last week. They adjusted my Wellbutrin and Xanax thinking I may have been getting too much. All of my labs are good except my thyroid is low. I take all my Vitamins and get all my Protein in a day. And I get about 800 calories which I am trying to increase by a little so I can begin leveling off. Anyone else ever have this issue? I am starting to get worried. Last night when I got up to go to the bathroom, I didn't even feel dizzy. My husband heard me fall and say oww. When he talked to me must have been when I woke up. I asked him where I was when he found me he said I was laying in the floor. I don't remember a THING. It is really scary.

Did they check your blood sugar? Just wondering as your symptoms are indicative of a sudden decrease in blood sugar. To be sure, I would purchase a $20 glucose checker from the local drug store, and check before getting out of bed in the morning, and periodically throughout the day. Make sure you document your results to share with your Dr. Especially If you see it fluctuating. Fasting blood sugars should be between 70-100. Two hours after eating levels should be: Less than 140 age 50 or less, less than 150 age 50-60, less than 160 age 60 or over. Random testing in general 80-120.

Again, it's the lows or sudden drops you should be most concerned about as these can make you pass out and can be dangerous.

Thank you. I went to the doctor today. And yes after eating my blood sugar was 79. Lol she showed me and I said oh that's good she said NOOO it's not. She is pretty sure my blood sugar is dropping. She gave me some suggestions and also told me to get a blood pressure monitor to check that.

So I will be very careful to eat more complex carbohydrates. She told me to eat something just before I go to bed. And I will have to check into one of those blood sugar monitors. Hope I can find one for 20 bucks. I really think I need to be checking on it frequently.

Walgreens has the Freestyle Light checker for $19.99. My son was diagnosed at age 10 and is Type 1. So, we're well versed on low/high blood sugar symptoms.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
