How often do you weigh yourself?

Recommended Posts

Every morning before showering. But I check inches about once per week- waist, hips, ark and thigh. Then if I'm stalled but losing inches (or parts of inches) I still feel good.

When was in the losing period I only weighed once a week, because I used to like to see that big drop in my weight. Now that I am trying to maintain I weigh everyday!

I don't own a scale. That's one thing I'm not obsessed about. As long as my clothes size is going down I don't care about weighing myself. I'm only out 3 months, but when I'm out 1 year I will probably weigh myself once a month.

Are you all kidding me? I weigh myself everytime I go to the bathroom! My scale sits right next to my toilet, so everytime I go into the bathroom for ANYTHING, I step on the scale.< /p>

I'm cool with whatever the scale says, its just become a habit for me. I've never gotten upset when I would go up a pound and then back down. It's just cool to me to see how much I weigh.

I'm glad that's what works for you! But don't assume it's what's best for everyone

Amen! It IS about the number on the scale, at least for me it is. I was 230lbs and getting bigger each year, but had no medical issues. I'm sure they were ccoming though. The scale told me every day I was getting bigger. So, I had the surgery. Now my scale tells me I getting smaller. And if I start going back in the wrong ddirection, I want to know before I've back tracked to 20 plus pounds. Like coffee, my scale makes me very happy!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
