I just can't quench my thirst for the life of me!

I'm soooo thirsty and there's nothing that's quenching my thirst. I'm dying to take a huge gulp. (Not gonna happen)

Try sucking on ice. You'll eventually be able to gulp, but early on your tummy may not like it.

Don't u dare...i just want to drink normally! but with time....

A good friend of mine who was sleeved suggested making crystal light ice cubes, putting them in a baggie, and crushing them, then chewing on those. Helps you satisfy your desire to chew, and helps get fluids in!

Oh I'm struggling the same with this unquenchable thirst. Everyone keeps telling me that I must not be taking in enough fluids but I do intake about 60oz a day and that should be able normal. I even wake up in the middle of the night to sip. I had a dream I was chugging water the other night that's how bad it had been, I guess the ice chips thing has sort of helped but on a very limited bases, The sipping does not last forever but until then hang in there and eventually normal drinking will resume! Good luck!

I found taking a small very cold sip of Water and letting it flood my tongue before swallowing helped. Also, sometimes I would take a mouthful drink, but hold it in my mouth for a moment while I would swallow it in three parts. After several weeks you will be able to take larger sips. Hang in there. Good luck.

I had trouble with water it seemed like it didn't want to go down the right tube...Than I found anything I drank was better with crushed Ice. Than I moved to Grape Propel it went down easier than water. Than I know this sounds weird but grape juice over ice, It was like I had no trouble drinking that at all. ...And for the last week orange gatoraide over Ice or Cold gatoraide or poweraide. in a small bottle! But one month out and thats what I fight with is the thirst, and I try to wake up and drink at night also...Good Luck!
