Hi Everyone! My first post!! Please help a newbie out here's my question:

During United Healthcare's UHC 6 month "motivated" attempt what happens if you gain weight? I started Oct 15th 2014 and have weighed in a total of 4 times so far with two more times to go. I've gained around 2lbs every time I weighed in this is mostly do to a month long sinus infection then influenza (the flu) the next month therefore I've basically been sick this whole time. And yes, unlike some people I eat when I'm sick. A lot lol. Anyway net gain 7lbs I have two more months of weigh in and yes I'm trying to lose the 7 I gained but did I mess up? Thanks!!! :D

I gained too. But then I found out they dropped the requirement, so no worries for me. You, however might want to do what I did on the month after I had a gain. I did a week of high Protein, no bread or sugar, and I dropped 10 pounds in 10 days, and went back to the Dr and had them document that weight instead. Of course I wasn't able to KEEP it off, but it showed I was trying. I think the diet is just a silly hoop. Just do your best.

@@Stephanie Salsera Perrott, not sure about your plan but for my united health plan, I was required to either stay the same weight or lose weight. I lost about 5lbs.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
