honey take it from an old married woman of 39 years. This guy needs to grow up. You should not be paying all the bills, this should be a joint effort. The weight loss thing is a minor problem. You cannot be responsible for his success or failure with his weight. The more you nag him about going to the gym and eating right the more resistant he will become. He is not ready to be responsible for himself in many ways. My ex husband was the same guy, I tried to 6 years to help him grow up but finally gave up. I re-married the most wonderful man in the world who helped me raise my daughter and supported me in everything I did 110%. He and I discussed the weight loss surgery and he said if it will be healthier for you I want you to have it. Since then he never mentions what I eat or what I do. It goes both ways, he was a smoker for many years although he had cancer and heart disease he refused to quit, no amount of my asking him to made a difference. He finally had a Dr. who prescribed Chantix and he quit but it had nothing to do with my nagging. You take care of your health first and foremost because if he doesn't love you enough to step up and be a man now he never will. You deserve way better. Best of Luck Sweetie.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
