Does anyone end up in a bikini? Please be honest!

This post made me laugh bc I am a skinny girl dying to get out of this fat suit. I have always joked that God keeps me fat so I won't be trashy. Not sure I will brave a bikini but my friends have been warned to call the fashion police if I take things too far! Lol

Hi. Yes. Most my family think I lost too much but I go by weight /bmi ratio and I can say I am thin again. As long as you follow diet n dr orders. You r good to go. Good luck.

This bikini thread needs........MORE BIKINI pics. :P

Great thread topic, too. Pretty amazing development: Women going from being pre-op to reaching the point where they want to rock their bodies in bikinis. Tremendous accomplishment. Speaks volumes about not only the obvious weight loss but also speaks to the healthy state of mind that's been reached. Huge respect, ladies. Huge respect.

I promise to never show off pics of me in a Speedo suit......because, well......I'll never own one. :D

Maybe I'll throw up some shirtless kayaking pics or such when I get there. Threads like this are huge inspiration. I know that when my 47th birthday arrives.....I'll be 9 months post-op and feeling much, much better. By the 48th birthday I'll feel better than I did on my 28th.

This is going to be a fun ride............

My surgery in in 3 days.

I already bought myself 2 beautiful bathing suits, 1 piece though, for my holiday to Florida at the end of September.

2 sizes smaller.....

I WILL fit in them!!!

They are gorgeous and are hanging in my closet right now!

I also bought a FITBIT that will arrive 2 days after surgery. It will be nice motivation.

Wore one to the beach last night for my kids back to school family beach night and one to the watersides earlier this summer!

I didn't take any pictures sadly but will try and take one soon! Hoping to go to Cabo in a few weeks for our anniversary so maybe then!

I'm thrilled to be able to wear a bikini. I've lost 115 lbs and feel pretty confident. I do have some wrinkles (sagging skin) but I'm loving how I look these days. Surgery was the best decision I've ever made:)

As a guy I don't think a bikini is in my future soooo. But you ladies I would guess it would depend on your skin looseness. If that's what your goal is then go for it and best of luck

I'm deffinetly not bikini body ready but I don't have loose skin (at least not yet!) So I'm hopeful that maybe I'm another 6 months I can pull off a bikini

Not a chance of a bikini for me. I don't care so much about the tummy, but the saggy boobs would look ridonkulous.

Oh you just haven't found the right bikini if you're worried about saggy boobs. Plenty of they are very structured and will lift those babies right up where they belong!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
