  5. Maybe it was Misformimi that commented on my reply. What ever I'll find a men's forum I guess I wasn't a where this was a ladies only forum
  6. So I guess this is another posting area a guy should stay out of apparently a guy commenting on breasts is a no no. I misunderstand the subject. Sorry ladies especially Ashlegal

  11. You will go up and down. I got badly depressed because I could no longer go eat every time I got frustrated or upset. The sight of a nice big meal literally drug me down. IT GOES AWAY. Don't over push the excercise in an extreme level as it will slow the weight loss by increasing muscle mass which is heavier
  12. You are automatically a success story when you go this route. It takes hard work, dedication and perseverance. Congratulations
  13. From a guys point of view you ladies are investing too much identity in you curves. You are all achieving fantastic losses and there are trade offs but you are who you are inside and give yourselves some great attaboy a over what's happening to your life first and if the looks are still critical do a little reshaping after that loss. The biggest successes in your lives are what you are doing now. Congratulations to all of you
  14. As a guy I don't think a bikini is in my future soooo. But you ladies I would guess it would depend on your skin looseness. If that's what your goal is then go for it and best of luck
  15. This is normal. As soon as you start getting your full protein amount it will straighten out. EVERYONE seems to expect to much and too soon and this surgery is a major big deal on your system. Relax a little let it work for you and it WILL get better promise
  16. Your body will reach an equilibrium stage after about 18 months to 2 years where your activity level, metabolism and food intake will balance after it burns off the excess fat. At this point you will plateau for longer than a short time and if you maintain the correct diet will move around 1-2 lbs. if you eat more or become less active things go out of balance and you will gain
  17. I guess I wonder why so many of you don't want people to know you had surgery. It is NOT the easy way out at all but I hear a lot of people don't talk about it. I never cared who knew about me but I am interested in your thoughts
  18. Holidays are a challenge because of the mental pull of the food. Be good to yourself with tiny portions eaten slowly don't let others make you feel bad
  19. You gotta learn protein is king and adjust to its importance in your life. Bariatric sites,Pinterest and many recipe sites will break out high protein dishes that are great just be sure the serving size matches your 2-3 oz capability. I personally subscribe to the theory that high protein is anything that will get me 15 grams or more per 4 ozs
  20. Just about anything you can churn up and lubricate with broth to the consistency of pudding will work by the way my area does puréed for 3 weeks not one. Supposedly makes the anastamosis heal more gently
  21. 1. To much excercise will build muscle mass from the protein you take in and thereby not burn as much fat. Strange as it may sound reducing the excercise by 1/2 and being sure you get 90-120 grams of good whey protein will most likely solve the slow loss and the hunger. Also use up your full 30 minutes to eat your 2-3 oz meals
  22. The 6-700 calories is about right but sounds like a stricture possible plus some of take longer to get through certain stages. It took me almost 4 months to get where more solid bodied foods would go through. As long as fluids will go down and stay concentrate on protein whatever it takes.
  23. Inner surfer girl I have to disagree. Yes you should get as much protein as you can with regular foods but if you stick with 3 meals and 2 snacks and 2-3 oz it's virtually impossible to get without grazing constantly. A shake or other protein fluid is just about a must
