What Are You Gonna Wear?

Recommended Posts

I'm doing a lot of prep for my sleeving on Jan 26, but one of the things I'm most excited about is being able to define my style in a new way when I do lose the weight. A lot of options will be open to me since I'll be able to choose more on what I really like rather than what just fits.

So, to motivate myself, I'm making a list of things I can't wait to wear. For example:

- my grandfather was an avid cruiser who spent a lot of time in Asia. This resulted in a number of custom-made suits and tuxedos in every imaginable color and style. My favorites are an old-school tuxedo, an old Harris tweed, and a red linen tuxedo jacket. I'm going to rock the eff out of both when I fit into them.

- I found my old Brownie and Girl Scout sashes. I want to make a dress using the sashes as ornament (they don't fit right now).

- Every outfit worn in the film Troop Beverly Hills.

What about you??

I want to wear a pair of jeans (wear them well!) with a wife beater and boots. Haven't been able to wear a nice pair of boots in many years!

Oh man, a pair of riding boots is definitely on my list! Good call!

There is a pair of white skinny jeans in my closet waiting for the next size down.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
