August 2014 gastric bypass check in.

Has time been flying by. I'm still learning my new pouch. I still get Diarrhea about twice a month from to much sugar or fat. I have a very low tolerance to both and I don't always see the trouble coming. Other than that I feel great. My pants sizes are shooting down so fast I have only one pair to wear. I just went under 200 pounds, which to me was a milestone. I love the changes and I see I carry myself proudly. I hope everyone else is seeing the same thing I am and the best of luck in reaching you goal.

My calorie intake varies from day to day but it's mostly under 900 calories. How about your calorie intake? I don't exercise much because of a bad back so it's all on what and how much I eat. I expect, hope (fingers crossed) to be at my goal weight without to much trouble. I'm in a stall now too and anxiously waiting for the scales to start moving again. How long has yours lasted?

The clothes thing is really a challenge but one I am very happy to deal with!

I haves dropped 4 sizes and am close to needing a smaller size in pants already!

I have gone out and purchased a few pair only because I travel so much lately. I just don't want to buy too much because I know I am going to keep losing.

My calorie intake is between 650 and 800 and I exercise every other day but stay very active on the days I don't. No sitting my behind on the couch all day!

Congratulations on your progress and good luck with your weight loss goals!

Hi everyone! I had my bypass in August 2014 and am down 70 lbs! I am feeling great. I am off high BP meds and acid reflux meds. It was the best decision ever. I just did a major clothes donation and purchased new clothes. it was a neccessity though since they were way too big now. Blessings to all of you!

I guess I need to post lol. Almost 5 months out I am down 103 pounds overall (I lost 11 pre surgery). I am very happy with my loss and only another 60 to go until I'm at my goal. It's been hard at times but totally worth it. I'm down to a size 16 from a 24 and I've gone down to a size 40 bra from a 44.

The only thing that stinks is my hair is thinning severely. I know it's only temporary but it's still aggravating.

Keep up the good work everyone!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
