16 lbs is amazing. I'm only down 3 since surgery on 12/29.

It does, but maybe you're a quick loser!

I've lost 5.5 lb since surgery.(14.5 lb on the 2 week liquid diet) As long as the scale keeps going down, not up, I'll be happy!

Ok ladies and gents .. Issue here.... Im having some tachycardia (fast racing heart beats) I'm not sure if it's anxiety or some real heart racing .. I called the doctor and he says if it continues to come into the ER.. Is this normal???

Surgery tomorrow, I haven't done liquid diet at all.

Well hello fellow sleevers. Hope you all are blessed and well. My current status is that I am doing better each day, but I need to get back to work Monday. My biggest issue is this dent in my side. I feel that if it were not for that I would be so much better. Doc says it will expand or pop in about 2 weeks. Said it will feel like someone stuck a knife in me, that's scary. Still walking bent over, still having hard time getting up from sitting or laying down. Can anyone give me more insight to the "POP" and tell me how your doing so I can make sure I'm at the right stage for this heeling process.

@@Mrs. Vee I find that if I hold in my stomach, it feels better. Yesterday I was wearing compression yoga pants and could barely feel a thing.

Ok. Strange request. But for those that are vomiting: what does it look like? Mine is sort of dark with flecks. I think it's old blood.

Ok, I will try that. I have big boobs and tried to put a bra on last night, it helped but then I started feeling constricted and had to take it off.

Good morning Sleevers!!

@@Big_Mama, I'm feeling well today!! No fast heartbeats ... Down another 3lbs.. Woohoo! Tried on some new clothes last night and didn't want to take them OFF! I couldn't believe what I was looking at in the mirror. I'm going to post pictures soon.

Welcome new Sleevers!

@@Mrs. Vee I feel you on the big boobs! Carrying H's! Can't wait to lose some!

@@queensleever05 I have only been allowed clear fluids and I was sleeved on Mon 12/29 but my Dr also makes his pts do the full 14 clear liquid pre op. I have to have 96 oz of water, crystal light, gatorade, broth, clear type soups & jello. It was HARD to even get 30 oz my 1st day home but managed each and every day to get better. It was probably bc of the long ride home and I was exhausted. I go to my 1st follow up on Tues and he will probably add protein drinks and POSSIBLY yogurt or cottage/ricotta cheese or something maybe. Doing everything he says though. What are you getting to eat?
