Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

Hello there Band fans....I got banded March 28th-2007.

I told myself....Bycyling would be a very good choice. Fresh air, muscles working for the sake of "Cardio". After one week passed--in April. I purchased three new bikes for me and my two sons. I have defeated many things doing that. No more not riding with my children--we ride as a crew (family). We could not conquer the hill on my street. We used to stop 3 to 4 times before getting to the top ( I did). So now the wheels have turned. My kids ask me---"Daddy can we stop--our legs are burning". Thank God I am doing well now. Now with 21 pounds gone---but just riding bikes. I am ready for the next Journey...The 1st fill--I am looking forward to the next 4 to 6 weeks--maybe 12 or 20 pounds gone...who knows...:faint: this is how I feel on many days after my ride. Today--(8.5 miles) It was walking, riding around the fair in my town--but that is what my speedometer said when it was all over...

They are very yummy. I have tried the orange, strawberry, and black cherry. All of them were very yummy. I also like regular Clif bars too. A little harder to eat but delicious all the same.

  • orange is my fav. I've had punch too, not so good.

  • Okay, so you two concur on the orange, strawberry and black cherry. Cherry is my favorite flavor, so I will get more of that. Thanks, chicas! (I gave y'all "reputation" for this info! I still can't be

I'm so confused.

I don't know what that pic is of, or why BG says "Poor Allison"...found out what mons is finally...but for panni, all Google returns is stuff talking about potatoes? Weird.

Panni short for panniculectomy, or removal of the pannus, which is the hanging skin/fat left over on your belly that, in my case, covers up my chacha.

J apparently thinks her mons is best described by a photo of an elephant seal's snout.

What do you mean? What am I missing?

Carol

our thread is bycyling. Not B I C Y C L I N G as it should be because the initial poster was a goon.

Anyway, try saying it. By Sigh Ling or BIC-why-ling? Is that what you are missing. I was just rambling

Or was it the whole V jay, jay conversation....?

LOL...

Well, I'm a little concerned about the FUPA thing. I'm pretty up on stuff like this as I see many Va-jay-jay throughout the day. I've never heard the term FUPA. And I guess it just made me realize that I too, have a FUPA. Shit. Note to self, get FUPA fixed.

The by-sigh-ling thing is so weird. You're right. It's like the signature of this group. T-shirts are in order.

Ah, yes...I think I do remember something about that now. Hopefully the info will "stick" this time and I won't be asking again in three months!

Chacha...never heard that one, either...made me laugh.

Oh, J! I'm sure that's not true, pretty lady!

In my circle we call that "packing".

New Bycyling lows are being achieved.

Yes, but new lows can be fun, no? Especially with THIS group!

I think we need to get shirts that say

BYCY...I've been calling it the bye sigh thread....

I say the same thing! Yes, we need shirts!

It IS the signature of this group! Without a doubt! A couple weeks ago, this thread had it's own discussion going in the mod forum. Our name really bugs folks! Drives 'em absolutely batty! (To be honest, if I weren't part of this insane group, it would likely drive me batty, too...and I would want to correct it.) Everyone was in agreement to "fix" the name, but I plead our case well and they understood the concept like C said...that it is US! So we are now and will forever remain...BYCYLERS! :cursing:

I think we should get together and design our own jerseys. We are awesome and should let the cycling world know it! LOL

They should be totally tongue-in-cheek obnoxious...whatever they are. I wouldn't be a good one to come up with verbage for the jersey...there are a few of you that I am SURE can come up with something fitting, cute and obnoxious all at the same time...but I can research cheap blank jerseys, print shops, and graphics.

What's funny is that we tried to have them change it last summer and we were ignored.

But now I so identify with bycyling.

Custom sublimated cycling jerseys are pricy, but I'd buy one, when I get to goal.

Sublimated is where the pattern is dyed into the cloth, like most jerseys not just silk screened onto it.

I looked into them for the WOW group last fall.
