BG is coming down to Columbus to ride with me and WOW, we have a 60 miler planned. OMFG, I so won't be ready for that, and then she's going to sit in on Heather's group at Polaris. I'm going to miss you being there, Chica. :)

Ok every woman should have this book i saw in Barnes Nobile today

I HAVE IT, DADDY! Fawnia Mondey actually wrote that. I also have:

(Gotta love this title, too: "Pole Work", huh? :) LOL) I have them because Fawnia Mondey is the bod I aspire to! I'll never have it, but I strive for it. She's a body builder and ex-stripper who has a pole dancing studio in Canada. She's amazing! Here's one of my fave pics of her...love those arms!

Okay, you're right...and now I'm embarrassed. :) I'm sorry! I didn't mean to sound that way. (I edited it out below.)

I went to the camera store today to get a USB cord for my camera so I can get the pics off of it. Turns out I have to order it from Casio, but then he says why don't I use a card reader? DUH! How dumb of me! I have one already, so I will post pics tomorrow. (In my profile album.)

Hi Jazz,

Cycling is great exercise. It's a fantastic way to start, go slowly and not for very long, but builds upon your experience quickly. It's a great calorie burner!

Nice to have you here.

On the big scheme of things C, what you are doing is much more exciting than a huge bike ride and hanging at the mall.

:puke::biggrin:YOU ARE GETTING YOUR BAND!!! :):biggrin2:

Like I need to tell you!

However, it's going to be fun mixing BG with H. I think BG is young enough to say all those things I think but just won't. I'll take notes and share them with you! :)

And girl, I'm not driving through Findlay until Memorial Day weekend. I'm guessing I'll see you at Polaris in May. So no visits. Sorry. :)

Korrine was all excited to play jokes on her friends.

Then I dropped her off at school and the electricity was out from the wind storm. No April foolery there. School was cancelled lol.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
