I am thankful for @@RachaelThomas for our new found friendship. I'm thankful she thought to share her experience with her insurance carrier and specific plan because she is the only person in the state with the same plan that I have found on BP. She's genuine and shares her experiences without being annoyed by my questions ;) . I share my short comings and she always has an encouraging word. Thanks @@RachaelThomas! Thanks BP Community for the wealth of knowledge in each thread!

I am so thankful for Carolinagirl, B52, Too much fun, Catfish and Missy(who is no longer posting). These people inspired and motivated me beyond words. While I didn't have a ton of weight to lose it was a monumental decision to have the Band and with all of the guiding words from other bandsters I managed to lose over 65 lbs and maintain it for almost 2 years. That has never happened before. Even through the most stressful times in the past year with HUsband's health I have maintained. I am only sorry that most of the band folks do not post much anymore.

I am very thankful for @@proudgranny (Kathy). She is always so positive and encouraging to everyone. When I've been ready to throw in the towel she has used "tough love" to get me to stick it out. I appreciate her more than she knows.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
