Just a quick question. When did you start posting pictures of the new you on social media? I'm 7 weeks out and really not planning on doing it until I'm closer to goal. Most of my family on Facebook doesn't know I've had surgery and I don't want to tell them anything but it will be obvious I've done something when I post pics.

All my friends on Facebook know. I have been posting my progress through pics since my surgery almost 3 months ago. I have wonderful support and they love hearing my updates. I understand there are people who like to be more private about it, but obviously I'm not one of them :) I enjoy the encouragement and support.

I have posted a few pics as I got closer to my goal weight but I have not advertised that I've had WLS. If someone asked me what I've been doing I usually would private message them and tell them.

I don't post a lot of pictures of myself on social media but every so often if I think my hair or makeup looks cute or if my outfit is really on point, I may post a picture or two. I'll probably continue the same way.

Who knows? If I didn't think I was cute I might have had this surgery sooner. ;)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
